The PSC PowerScan LR and PSC PowerScan XLR scanners have been specifically designed “from the ground up” to meet the demands of tough industrial applications – especially where some labels are scanned up close and others at great distances. The PSC PowerScan LR will read a 10 mil label as close as 7” / 18 cm and a 100 mil reflective label 22’ / 6.7 m away. With the PSC PowerScan XLR you can read 20 mil labels as close as 28” / 71 cm and 100 mil reflective labels as far away as a whopping 36’ / 11 m. In any long-range application, you can rely on either the PSC PowerScan LR or PSC PowerScan XLR for fast, accurate bar code reading of both paper and reflective labels. PSC’s QuadraLogic™ II decoding software enables users to successfully read most dirty, smudged and damaged labels—labels that were previously considered unreadable. Even in the harshest working environments, you can depend on the PSC PowerScan LR & PSC PowerScan XLR to keep on working. Designed to meet the most stringent drop specification in the industry, the scanner will withstand multiple 6.5’ / 2 m drops to concrete. The PSC PowerScan scanner has a sealing rating of IP54 which means it can withstand intermittent rain showers and keep on working. PSC PowerScan also operates over a wide temperature range, from -22° F / -30° C to 122° F / 50° C.
