The Intermec 4420 is an excellent choice if you want a more economical solution than our 4440 printer, and still need high print speed, or require more accessories, such as a cutter, than are supported by the 3400 printer.

Our mid-range Intermec 4420 printer is IPL2 compatible and can run the same formats as the medium-duty 3400 and the heavy-duty 4400. As all IPL2 printers, the Intermec 4420 supports the emulation of Intermec 86XX printer commands so you can upgrade to higher performance with minimal impact on your bar code system operation. It can maintain speeds up to 8.5 inches per second even when printing high-resolution graphics, and its 203 DPI printhead can print up to 4.1 inches wide. It's versatile and comes standard with nine internal bitmapped fonts and one smooth font for excellent printing quality, 40K internal battery-backed SRAM to store formats, fonts, or graphic images in the printer and offers an option 256K SRAM expansion for even more flexibility. It also includes PrintSet, a Windows®-based printer configuration and installation tool.
