The ScanPlus 1800 hand-held bar code scanner is ergonomic, easy to pick up and use all day long. It incorporates innovative solutions for different depths of field, connectivity, changing setup requirements, and selecting linear (1D) and stacked (2D) bar codes including PDF417.

It comes with a choice of scan engines - the CCD linear engine for close reading applications (10 cm/0 - 4inches) or laser scan engine for jobs requiring a longer depth of field (to 50 cm/ 20 inches).  A universal interface allows the 1800 configuration to connect to hundreds of PCs, cash registers , or other terminals simply by changing the cable and software set-up. The 1800 SR is the CCD model. The 1800 ST is the Laser model.
